Kundalini Meditation

This beautiful process is comprised of 4 stages, each of which connects you with a different dimension of your energy. If you can engage totally with this process and keep an open mind, it can tranform you very rapidly. Many of our students have said it has been a tremendous catalyst for growth.

Instructions & Music

This practice should be done on a daily basis for at least 15 days for best results, after which you can continue for as long as you like, as and when you feel. Many people experience immediate intense effects. If you have a medical condition, are physically impaired, or are pregnant please do not attempt this meditation - you can try the Visualisation (without movement) or the Gibberish meditation instead. Consult a medical professional if in doubt.

The process involves

  • 15 minutes of shaking

  • 15 minutes of dancing

  • 15 minutes of sitting absolutely still

  • 15 minutes of lying down to ground your energies

The music will change for each step, so you will know when to move from one stage to the next. For the last 15 minutes of lying down, the audio is silent. At the end, a bell will ring, to let you know the meditation is over. Then, you can slowly come out of meditation in your own time.

Following the full 1 hour audio is highly recommended, it is deliberately designed.
Some people, due to injury or health conditions, may feel from their body that it’s not right to do the full thing straight away. They may wish to work towards it, and try smaller sessions first. Here is some alternative music approved by Satya Ji for smaller sessions of this meditation

Follow it up with sitting still, and lying down.

Step 1: Find a private place where you will not be disturbed. Privacy is more conducive to let yourself go fully. KEEP YOUR EYES CLOSED THROUGHOUT THIS PROCESS

Step 2: Close Your Eyes. Plant both feet firmly on the ground and begin bouncing gently by bending and extending your knees. Feel your feet pressing against the floor as the energy moves into your upper body

Start shaking your arms, your hips, your shoulders.

THE KEY TO ACTIVATING YOUR ENERGY, KUNDALINI, CREATIVITY, IS TO PUT YOUR TOTALITY INTO SHAKING. PUT YOUR FULL POWER.

DON'T BE SCARED YOUR MIND WILL FREAK OUT WHEN YOU WILL FEEL THAT BODY STARTS TO GO MAD. THERE IS A ANOTHER ANIMAL INSIDE YOU.

THAT ANIMAL IS YOUR REAL POWER AND FRIEND.

DON'T HOLD BACK.

GIVE YOURSELF FREEDOM. ALLOW MADNESS COME OUT.

Step 3: Dance. Make forms with your arms. Let your body express its creativity. Just close your eyes and listen to what the energy wants to do, follow its flow and stay with it. Your mind may start judging your movement and try to make it “socially acceptable” or “aesthetic”. Just stay with your flow. Dance freely, you are not performing for anyone.

Step 4: Sit down in a comfortable cross-legged posture (place a cushion under your buttocks if needed), and be completely still like a stone. Make a command to your body to be totally still with eyes closed. No swaying, no head scratching, no slouching. And just watch everything that comes up. Your breath, the flow of your energy, any thoughts. Just be aware of them. If you get distracted, return to the intention of sitting still.

Step 5: Now lie down, and be still, totally relaxed. Let go of all efforts and allow your energy to come to total rest.

TOTALITY

Totality is the key to creativity, success, and spirituality.

In fact, only time you live is when you are total.

Totality is when you become the action, you are just pure energy flow without any interruptions of mind. Then you get connected with the totality of life, the pure energy vibration of life which is always present.

You experience this flow as joy, as juice.

You are plugged into the cosmic database.

SHAKING CAN GIVE YOU GLIMPSE OF THIS TOTALITY WHEN YOUR MOVEMENT BECOMES ALMOST LIKE ORGASMIC SHAKING DURING SEX. BUT IN THIS SHAKING YOU ARE ALWAYS REACHING AND REACHING AN ORGASM, IT DOES NOT END. WHEREAS NORMAL SEX IS BRIEF.

THIS SHAKING CAN GIVE YOU A NEW INFORMATION AND FEEL OF THIS ORGASMIC STATE OF TOTALITY. ONCE YOU EXPERIENCE IT THEN YOU ARE INITIATED INTO HIGHER RELAMS OF LIFE. THEN IT WILL FOLLOW YOU, HAUNT YOU, AND WON’T LET YOU SETTLE IN ANY PRISON OF MIND.

THIS TOTALITY IS THE MASTER STROKE. THIS TOTALITY IS THE TRUE GURU.

So put your whole energy together and shake totally for fifteen minutes. It's not that much to transform your life. Taste the feel of totality, then your being catches fire.

This cosmic beast in you is the true force of life. Don't be afraid.

It will increase your potential and capacity for energetic actions. Then this totality can be applied to every action. Then your life becomes a celebration of this electric cosmos.

There is just this one electricity, it only appears in various forms. To get connected and stay connected to this cosmic sound and vibration is devotion to the divine. It's not a concept but tongue tip taste of life.

Strive to be total in everything you do then your very life is True devotion to Divine, the truth, all else follows. You don't need morals, ethics but just one focus to be total then your life is in good hands. That totality is the touch of divine.


Don't take shaking lightly and as an inconvenience.

It is used in spiritual and healing practices for centuries for Awakening your kundalini, healing even diseases like cancer.

Shaking can really dissolve your energy blockages and open all your meridian channels.

So do shaking creatively - shaking legs, spine, arms, legs.

Most important point is you have to break your comfort barrier, that is the real practise which will transform you.

When you start to shake, mind your fears and pain or heat, you will want to stop. Here don't listen to your usual half-hearted mind, which does, but not totally.

Don't stop no matter what body mind says keep shaking with full power, hard. This will break many barriers, you may start to get angry or start to cry, that's good, express it let it flow by shaking it out. Your mind is the barrier it wants to live in safe, secure, low energy zone. But energy activated makes mind afraid of losing control.

You can transform only by bringing yourself to breaking point. It's not an exercise but a shake down of your personality, energy and mind.

In dancing become creative and expressive

Use arms to invent new forms, let the creativity of body express.

Shaking activates your vital power, related with legs, dancing opens your expression and heart, related to hands and arms. Use arms and hands in dancing, creating forms and movements creatively.

Sitting still will take your activated and expressed energy to the third eye and it will become silence, stillness and meditation.

Starting with roots expressing like branch dancing and meditation silence like flower.

Your energy becomes light after shaking and expressing, it rises to higher realms of meditation.

Always work like this for meditation first activate you frozen energy as ice, then express like flowing water, then energy naturally, with the heat of your presence, rises like clouds in the sky wisdom to rain like creativity.

When you intentionally go through pain as in shaking you end up dissolving many karmic sufferings and patterns.

This intentional pain was the way in yoga to clear karmic patterns, the things your mind is afraid you bring it on and go through it consciously.

Going through any pain consciously without avoiding you are healing and releasing your stored karmic pattens which follow you for lives.

DO NOT CHEAT ON THE SITTING STILL PART

THIS SITTING STILL WILL INTEGRATE YOUR ENERGY THAT YOU EXPRESSED. THIS CREATES A PATTERN OF BRINGING ENERGY BACK INTO YOURSELF. WE USUALLY SCATTER OURSELVES BUT DON'T KNOW ABOUT BRING OURSELVES BACK WITHIN. TO COMPLETE THE CIRCLE.

WHEN SITTING STILL MAKE A WILL FOR WHOLE TIME YOU WILL NOT MOVE AT ALL NO MATTER HOW UNCOMFORTABLE YOU FEEL. BE STILL LIKE A STONE, FROM INTENSE ACTIVITY TO ABSOLUTE STILLNESS.

THESE TWO POLARITIES ARE THE KEY TO UNDERSTANDING THE DYNAMIC OF YOUR ENERGY, BODY AND MIND MOVEMENT.

BEING STILL WITH BODY WILL CREATE FIRST A PHYSICAL WILL POWER AND POWER TO MAKE A DESCISION TO BE STILL AND FOLLOW. THIS WILL DEVELOP DEEPER LEVEL OF POWER IN THE MIND AND BODY. THIS WILL DEVELOP CONFIDENCE INTO YOUR WILL POWER.

BUT DO NOT BREAK THIS VOW OF KEEPING STILL OTHERWISE THIS BECOMES A HABIT IN MIND TO MAKE A WILL THE BREAK IT. WE DO IT ALL THE TIME.

THIS STILLNESS IS LIKE BLANK PAGE OF BODY ON WHICH YOU WRITE WITH MOVEMENTS. WE NEVER BECOME AWARE OF THIS BLANK OF NO MOVEMENT BODY, BUT WE ALWAYS MOVE.

WITH STILLNESS YOU WILL BECOME AWARE OF THE ENERGY MOVING INTO YOUR BODY. IT GIVES CHANCE TO ENERGY TO GO TO DIFFERENT PARTS AND HEAL AFTER INTENSE EXPRESSION. USUALLY WE ALWAYS MOVE BUT BODY IF STILL IT CAN HEAL ITSELF.

IMPORTANT KEY IS WHEN STILL BE PRESENT IN THE BODY JUST FEELING. USUALLY, WE ARE ALWAYS OUT DOING. THIS PRESENCE HEALS YOUR BODY.

BE PRESENT AND STILL FEEL ALL THAT IS HAPPENING IN THE BODY. THIS WILL CREATE A BASE FOR MEDITATION AND DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF BODY.

WOMAN (SHAKTI) IS HAPPY WHEN HER MAN (SHIVA) IS HOME. SHE ARRANGES AND CREATES IN THE PRESENCE.

Last step of lying down will teach you death and letting go.

If you are observer and sensitive you will find that this is a major issue and fear - an attachment to action energy meditation space etc. By the end of it they all are toys of mind.

The empty and zero of lying down makes you get aquainted to empty as well.

In the end, surrender back to Shakti by lying down. This way, you are not collecting high experiences in spiritual, but setting right cosmic patterns.

If you want to collect experiences know well they will be gone, then you will suffer the loss because you didn't learn to enjoy the let go. But empty gives birth to new cycles and you will be caught mourning the lost experience.
