Navel Breathing

Sound is not the only tool at our disposal! Navel Breathing is a powerful way to move your attention away from your thoughts and ground it into the present moment. There is a point ~ 2 inches below the navel called Svadhishthana - the abode of the Self. This is an excellent practice for those who want to reduce their overthinking and connect to their sense of intuition.

Enough of talking about it's time now for you to work on to get in tune or become that about we talked about. Connecting to the source, valuing the center than the circumfrence, trusting the awareness and wisdom more than the formation of thought.

Important point to understand in your life is that as long as your life is a tool to your thoughts, till then there is no harmony. Thought has to become your tool, like your hand it does what you want to do. But right now, the hand of your thought is doing things independent of you.

For that to happen you need to establish into your power, the basic cycle and discipline of your energy.

Here I am going to share a organized way to discipline your energy and life through practises shared.

It is durga festival these days which implies festival and worship the energy of the cosmos, which is everything in our life as well, from body to thoughts.

Connecting with Shakti with respect and reverence is the base and deepest of all rituals and mantras.

It is about connecting with the life force within.

I am sharing the basic discipline you need to do everyday like a cycle of seasons on earth. Then around it comes other practises and your life actions. This will enrich everything in your life and open your potential and make it possible for you to manifest your intention and creativity in life.

But these practises are to connect with your primal force Durga for that it is necessary that your system is unblocked, for that I have mentioned practises of shaking gibberish etc they are the cleaning processes so you can connect with your core power which is blocked. Cleaning practises you do when you feel you are blocked inside once unblocked you get into engaging into life through your core energy not through disturbed emotions or chaotic thoughts.

Practise below is the base for all creativity, martial arts, and spiritual practises so do it everyday in morning like a staunch followers and devoted follower such things impress Shakti and you can gain her cooperation in life.

STEP 1

Sit with straight back on the ground on cushion.

Facing North very important.

Be still feel your whole body and breathe from whole body no alteration of breath just natural flow. Feel your whole body breathing in expanding and breathing out contracting. For five minutes.

STEP 2

Start to move your spine from the base in circle, a slow circular movement. You can move your spine in circles only from the root of your spine.

Make slow circular movement and bring your attention to the area where the base of your spine is, from where the movement is happening, which is two inches below your navel inside you. Physically the base of the spine is base vertebra in the pelvis, energetically it is below your naval inside not on the surface of the skin.

This movement you have to do with awareness staying with the center of the movement as in circle there is a center. Keep your attention at this center and make slow moving circle.

This center is your Durga center, shakti/energy center as well your vitality and sexuality center. You will start to feel a little flame or energy sensation in your lower belly, focus on it and slowly it will start to grow with your, attention. This focus will bring your energy to your roots your mind will slow down and become still.

This is the deepest key to still your mind by shifting your attention to your naval energy center instead of dealing with thoughts which get their energy from your center. It's returning home - thoughts are the outside journeys.

Slowly make the circle smaller and smaller till you become still into the middle of the circle.

Keep your attention on to your center.

Feel this center as a dot in the mandala of your body, energy sensations and thought.

Feel yourself as a center presence inside your body as awareness, see your body sitting still and sensations of body, emotions and movements of thoughts.

Do this for ten to fifteen minutes. Circle and becoming still and watching.

STEP 3

You will notice that from this center, below your navel, your breathing starts. This center pulls in the energy of cosmos and prana from every pore of your skin and of course from your breathing system, nostrils as well.

This center expands and contracts while breathing.

Now you have to start to breath very slow and as long as possible. If you usually breath 30 times in a minute you have to breath slow for five to ten times in a minute.

If a feather is placed in front of your nostrils your breath should not vibrate the feather that's how slow and long you will breath from belly.

Breathing in feel whole energy of cosmos is being pulled into your center through your whole body, breathing out feel this energy is spreading back to the far ends of whole cosmos.

Do it for ten to fifteen minutes or as long you like.

This will calm you mind totally and you can also do this breathing before sleep.

This exercise will start to give you control of your thoughts and energy through breath.

You will feel a great power into your belly that means your battery is getting charged and not depleted by your thoughts.

It is important to do it in the morning so it will establish you in your power and set the tune to that power you can chant aum or any other mantra

Let chanting happen from the belly.

Soon you will become aware of total wisdom in you because this center is connected with the cosmic wisdom also known as intuition. It will make your body powerful and your personality intuitive. Which we call gut feeling.

Many schools in martial arts and zen have just this practise and it is sufficient for your transformation.

Then your actions, emotions, thoughts you will notice they come from this center.

You will become more real and authentic.

Final step in life is to surrender to this cosmic center in you it is the Mother center of the cosmos. This mother wisdom guides you. Surrender is to function from intuition the cosmic wisdom.

This center is the goal of all spiritual practises to connect with, this is what is called inner guru or guide.
